What Sabo chose from The Deepshakerz x Black Savana Rework package is not the full rework, but the edit, the one that goes straight to the mix. Since it was released, 26 May 2023, this has been doing its work in the places where people actually dance, and Sabo placed it seventh in his Summer Solstice Chart on 24 Jun. Which is apt, because this is a record for the high summer, a record for the terrace at golden hour, a record for the sort of set where the percussion does the talking.

The drums do not crowd, they do not thin. They hold back, they leave plenty of room under the peaks, and the top end is lit. The vocal is reduced to a chant, repeated, and the whole thing is built to carry a room. Daniel Rateuke made a fine afro house cut and The Deepshakerz have reworked it into something that feels like a shared moment. This is the one to play when the sun is still high enough to matter.
