ZAMNA Records introduces the release by saying "the spirit of Itzamna re-awakens for a new gaiety, as an ensemble arrives from various paths of Earth". The Lunar Plane Remix of 'Bambelela', featuring Nomvula SA, arrived on the label in June, filed as Afro House, and Lunar Plane placed it first of 10 in his own Summer 2023 chart on 30 June.

Like Mike's catalogue runs to 107 releases since June 2010, weighted heavily toward Smash The House, which accounts for 56 of them; the most recent before this was 'Tomorrowland Music - The Reflection of Love Singles', on Tomorrowland Music, in October. Lunar Plane brings a run of 54 releases since October 2016 to the remix, most of them, 12, on Stil Vor Talent. The mix leans toward harmony, with a spare drum figure held back in the mix; levels stay reserved, with room left under the peaks, and little light at the top, a hushed, spacious read. First of 10 in a chart its own remixer compiled is a strong result for a track leaning on atmosphere over impact.

The spirit of Itzamna re-awakens for a new gaiety, as an ensemble arrives from various paths of Earth to witness the sun dawn at the bosom of Quintana Roo. Zamna Records gathers Belgian-Greek dj/producer Like Mike, South African artistsCandy Man & Cornelius SA, and prolific songstress Nomvula SA, to pay reverence to the divine. Impelled by Nomvula's poignant balladry and a bracing celestial groove, the cast's "Bambelela" is a dancefloor litany rife with transcendent symphonies and sensual rhythms that bridge solace in the mundane with optimism in the greater unknown.

The spiritual odyssey fodders three unique re-interpretations. Up first, MoBlack Records' visionary namesake unwinds his kinetic cerebral meditation. Vibrating fluid undulations, effervescent rhythms and instinctive pulses, MoBlack's remix uplifts "Bambelela" into a multi-sensory trance. Through affective resonance, ethereal melodies and somatic cadences, Lunar Plane sires "Bambelela's" second adaptation, illustrating a breathtaking panorama that captures the alchemy of the terrain marrying the agility of conviction. Capoon yields the anthology's finale, harmonizing Nomvula's poetry with euphoric strings, sanguine progressions and buoyant lilts. Ignited by a solemn, lyric-driven prelude, the Antwerp-based artist's timeless rendition kindles a gentle yet unrelenting fire, sustained by the energy of sound and the quintessential ability to believe.
