Stephan Bodzin, Jem Cooke, Massano 'Healing' on Simulate Recordings

As the Ibiza season closes, Zamna at Hï Ibiza tonight (12 September) presents a heavyweight bill that sees Stephan Bodzin headline, with Massano, Zamna Soundsystem, Andrea Oliva and ARODES also on the card. It is a fitting moment for Massano, who earlier this week placed Bodzin's collaborative cut with Jem Cooke 'Healing' at the top of his Massano's Healing Chart, published on 9 September. The chart offers ten records that have been on his mind lately, and three of them are drawn from Simulate Recordings, including this one.

Released on 6 September via Simulate Recordings, 'Healing' arrives in an Extended Mix that lets the record breathe. A vocal from Jem Cooke sits out in front of the drum work, which has plenty of air in it. The mix keeps the top end dim and lets the voice shine, with little movement under the peaks; it is a record that is loud and forward, and built to soundtrack the last light of the summer nights that are slipping away.
