Massano has selected Alphadog's 'Expected' as one of his recent favourites, slotting it in at number four of his ten-track 'Massano's Healing Chart' on 9 September. The release, on Simulate Recordings, is a careful study of restraint, with its weight held in the chords rather than in the drums. There are few hits to the beat, and the track maintains a level that keeps its headroom intact, letting the bright treble ring out above a patient, pulsing undercurrent.

With the Ibiza season in its closing weeks, Massano is set to bring that same tension-and-release sensibility to Hï Ibiza on 12 September, where he shares the bill with Stephan Bodzin, Zamna Soundsystem, Andrea Oliva and ARODES. The track first surfaced on 23 August, and its presence in the chart underscores the strong relationship Massano has with Simulate Recordings, a label he has featured on multiple times, three of the ten records in his current chart are on the label.
