'Tuxedo Park' is Anjunadeep's 34th release of 2024, part of a run that has reached 53 for the label this year. The Extended Mix came out on the label in May, filed as Melodic House and Techno, and James Hype placed it 21st of 24 in his Surviving Summer Chart on 29 July.

It marks Simon Doty and My Friend's first release on Anjunadeep since 'The Calm EP', a gap of 39 days. Drums lead over harmony throughout, with an even figure driving the track. The mix sits neither loud nor quiet, moderately clear of the peaks, and the treble runs bright, a balanced, present read. 21st of 24 is a modest finish, but a label putting out 53 records this year carries plenty of company at any position on any single chart.
