Pete Tong, Jem Cooke, Jules Buckley 'Heat Rising' on Ministry of Sound Recordings

The cultural force that is Pete Tong is on the bill at the Mondrian and Hyde Hotels in Ibiza on 24 April for IMS Ibiza 2024, and then at the IMS Ibiza Closing Party at Chinois Ibiza in Ibiza on 26 April, a bill that also carries Jaguar, Matt Black, DJ Pierre and Ghandi. This current single, and the perfect soundtrack to that Ibiza run, is 'Heat Rising', with Jem Cooke and Jules Buckley, and it has just come in for the CamelPhat Extended Remix.

An edit of the record finds a track led by harmony rather than percussion, with little incident in the drums and modest in level with the peaks a long way clear. The treble carries the music, and it is that combination that makes the record so compelling.
