NevadaSYSTEM, Qian Qiao 'Rise' on Enormous Chills
NevadaSYSTEM and Qian Qiao put 'Rise' out through Enormous Chills on 19 September, in the Extended Mix, with the Ibiza season running down around it. It follows 'Shining', which the pair sent out on Vasa Records earlier in the same month.
The chords carry this one and the drums stay out of its way, a restrained arrangement that hands most of the room to the melody.
David Guetta played 'Aggression (Morttagua Remix)' back in August, and Shingo Nakamura has been in their corner too, so 'Rise' arrives with ears already on the act. It is the quieter, chord-led end of that run, and it puts the pair on two labels inside a single September.
