Kristin Velvet 'Gratitude' on Exit Strategy

Kristin Velvet's 'Gratitude' placed fifth of 17 in Jimi Jules's own Baby Run Chart from 5 Feb, on Exit Strategy and filed as Melodic House & Techno. A cool night settled over Tulum that week, as the season moved into its second month.

That same chart also carries Âme and Busiswa's 'Pha Na Pha' at eighth, on Innervisions. Four of the 17 records in it carry the Exit Strategy name.

An even split between drum and chord carries the record, crowded percussion sitting neither loud nor quiet and moderately clear of the peaks, with a muted top end throughout. Fifth of 17 keeps 'Gratitude' well inside the top third of a crowded chart.
