'In Sequence' is Anjunabeats's 66th release of 2023 on Beatport, one of 69 the label has put out this year to date. The Korolova Extended Mix, filed as Melodic House and Techno, arrived on the label in September, and adam placed it eighth of 12 in the GLOW chart on 10 October, a field where four of the 12 records already carry the Anjunabeats name.

It marks Kasablanca >'s first release on Anjunabeats since 'Am I Dreaming?', in the Øostil Remix, a gap of about two months. The mix leans on harmony over percussion, with an airy hit pattern running throughout. Levels sit middling, with moderate movement under the peaks, and the top end runs dark, a combination that gives the track a hazy, unhurried character. Eighth of 12 in a chart this stacked with the label's own output is a fair result for a return this quick.
