Estiva 'What Is Love' on Anjunabeats

Estiva presents 'What Is Love' on Anjunabeats, marking his first release for the label since his Rays / Aylu single from January 2023, a nine month gap that makes this return all the sweeter.

Dubbed an Extended Mix, 'What Is Love' is a dark yet exhilarating production, locked tight in the percussion and toned all the way through in colour. Estiva has matched a taut drum track with sounds that move fast and leave a trail of vapour. There is a strobing synth figure at the top of the record, and a bass pulse that is low and driving; together they push the track forward, but with an even hand, so that the whole thing vibrates without ever losing focus. It sits neatly in the melodic house & techno lane, with a floor oriented rigidity that has made his sound a favourite among the labels core artists.

Originally finished earlier this year, it now lands as the 68th Anjunabeats release of 2023, with more to come before the year is out.
