D-Nox 'Heartbeat' on Sprout

D-Nox brings 'Heartbeat' to Sprout, filed as progressive house and released on 30 May, the label's fifth release of 2025, out of eight so far this year. Guy J placed it third of 10 on his Music for August chart, posted 29 July, as Ibiza and Mykonos sit deep in high season.

Percussion and harmony hold equal ground through 'Heartbeat', with an even drum figure that never tips the balance either way, and the mix stays at a middling level with some room left under the peaks. The treble runs bright, giving the track a lift at the top that carries it clean through a set without ever crowding the low end.

D-Nox was last covered on 5 October, with 'There Is Hope', also on Sprout, and 'Heartbeat' is his first release on the label since 'Space Fly' on 28 March, a gap of about two months.
