Bontan, RRETT 'Joga' on Club Bad

As Ibiza's season draws to its final weeks, Bontan and RRETT's 'Joga' keeps circulating, with Francis Mercier placing the Bontan Extended Edit nineteenth of twenty in his So Good Remix Chart on 17 September. The edit, out on Club Bad since late August, found its way onto that list the same month Bontan and Mercier were listed on a bill at Hï Ibiza, where Mercier's Solèy night on 28 September also listed Mahmut Orhan, Ashibah and Jade alongside the two.

Bontan's edit stretches the original's Afro house pulse for the booth, giving its percussion more room to run and its groove a longer arc toward the peak. It is a producer's reworking rather than a reinvention, built to extend rather than replace what 'Joga' already does on a dancefloor.

Toolroom, Defected and Suara number among the labels Bontan has released on most often, and his most recent outing before this was 'GANGSTA (Remixes)' on Mad Decent last October. Club Bad was last covered here on 9 December 2025 with Contribe's 'Batucada'; this August release has now found a place on Mercier's September chart.
