Amir Telem 'Rasa' on Harabe Lab

Harabe Lab counts 'Rasa' as its first release of 2024, one of two on the label so far this year. The Madraas Remix of Amir Telem's Organic House record was released 15 March, arriving in the closing weeks of the Tulum season.

Tone sits over rhythm here, with a busy percussive surface running underneath rather than out in front. The level stays even with middling headroom, and the highs stay forward without ever pushing too hard. It is a textured, harmony leaning remix, confident enough to let detail do the work instead of force.

Marsh placed 'Rasa' third of 10 on his Warrior chart on 26 March. Amir Telem has put out 122 releases since 12 November 2018, 17 of them on Superordinate Music, six on Forward Music, five on Movement Recordings and five on 3000 Grad Records; the most recent before this was 'Goose Bumps Collection, Vol. 11' on Superordinate Music on 23 February, barely three weeks before this one.
