Voodoochild, Chris Arna, Kasango 'Like That' on Make The Girls Dance Records

HUGEL just put 'Like That' at seventh of ten in his Make The Girls Dance Chart Vol. 15, dated 27 Sep. Eight of the ten picks in the chart are on his Make The Girls Dance Records label; this one is by Voodoochild, Chris Arna and Kasango, in the Extended Mix.

'Like That' starts with drums, no chords, a voice comes in as a looped call. Then there's a synth chord that stays in the middle, and a percussion part with a lot in it. A flute plays a high phrase, and then a second flute joins it for a harmony, both sounding like they are playing live. The bass is round and soft, not heavy. It sounds like a song for an open-air day party.

The track is filed as Afro House. It is loud, with the peaks held tight, and half bright at the top.
