Vintage Culture, Franky Wah 'Alive' on SHÈN Recordings

Themba's remix of 'Alive' takes the original Vintage Culture and Franky Wah record and pulls it into a leaner, more rhythmic frame. The vocal is there, but the emphasis falls on the drums, which are given space to roll and skip beneath the melodies. The result is a record that feels built for the late hours, with a groove that is unhurried but never slack.

It follows the pair's 'Road To Ibiza' on the same label from June, and it's out now on SHÈN Recordings as part of the continued run of releases that have kept the label busy through the summer.
