Tulum's pulse is quickening as the season begins, and this week, Bedouin's 'Temple of Dreams' chart, released on 7th November, reveals the records soundtracking their world. Sitting at number 11 of 15 is Vanjee's 'Saona', a track that lands with a confident swing. The record runs at 124 BPM, the fastest of the seven Afro House cuts featured in this chart, whose tempos span from 118 to 124 BPM, and it's out now on REDOLENT, the same label that delivered Sabo's 'Afro Chooz' earlier this autumn.

The audio is an exercise in balance, with percussion and harmony given equal weight. The percussion is dense and commanding, with a forward presence that demands attention, while a bed of lush harmonic textures keeps the atmosphere open. The mix allows plenty of room under the peaks, keeping the low end defined without smothering, and the top end shimmers with a light touch, present but never harsh.
