Soubeiran, Moon J 'My Touch' on Tortuga

Hyenah placed 'My Touch' 11th of 15 on her Ready For Summer chart on 23 May. Soubeiran and Moon J's record on Tortuga, filed as Afro House, was released 7 June, arriving in the season's first week in Berlin.

At 120 BPM, in A flat minor and sitting at Camelot 1A, the track keeps an even hand between drum and tone, with a steady percussive surface running throughout. The level sits neither loud nor quiet and moderately clear of the peaks, and a moderately bright top end keeps the mix lifted. It is a well balanced, minor key piece of production, comfortable holding two equal elements together.

Hyenah's chart also carried Kiko Navarro, Benji Habichuela and Nuria Millan's 'Nana Del Caballo Grande' in the Exhibit Version on Afroterraneo Music at 13th. A mid chart placing on a list this varied still puts 'My Touch' in good company.
