Having last appeared on Just This in July 2026, Sorlong makes his AXEPT debut with 'Hinta', a striking addition to the label's catalogue and a record that fits neatly into the melodic house and techno spectrum that AXEPT has been championing all summer. It has already found its way into Yulia Niko's Melodig Week 23 chart, where it landed fourth of 17 records, and it is not hard to hear why.

There is a level share between drum and harmony across the record. The drum figure is busy, constant, a dense pattern that keeps the energy high even when the chords pull toward something dreamier. It is also a loud record, but not in an aggressive way; there is little give under its peaks, which gives 'Hinta' a relentless forward motion that should suit late summer sets, whether on the terraces of Mykonos or the warehouses of Lisbon.

The top end is moderately bright, just enough to keep the percussion crisp without letting the whole thing tip into harshness. It was released on 21 August 2026, nine days before the 30 August dateline of this review.

The label said

"Don’t Make Me Wait”, an outstanding Melodic House & Techno track from Sorlong, blending emotional melodies with driving grooves and hypnotic energy.

The track balances deep atmospheres with a powerful dancefloor impact, making it equally suited for peak-time club moments and immersive listening. The record has already proven itself on the dancefloor, "Don't Make Me Wait" became a highlight in many of Yulia Niko's DJ sets, generating a strong response from audiences. Completing the EP are two more tracks, "Turn Around Baby", and "Hinta" Now, we're excited to officially release it on AXEPT.
