The Soundgarden: has been having a stellar 2026 with no fewer than five releases so far this year, each of which has brought another exciting new talent into the flourishing Miami label's orbit. The latest comes from Solis [US], whose hypnotising 'Superposition' arrives with a remix from Dowden that has already been capturing the attentions of DJs further afield.
The original lives in warm pads. But it is the Dowden Extended Remix which has become the focal point of the release and the pick from those in the know. In his hands 'Superposition' is built on a dense, drum-heavy pattern that still leaves room under the top end. Each element sits at a middling level, giving it a gentle, flowing feel. If there is a highlight, it is the bright, sun-kissed sounds that dance at the top of the track.
'Superposition' is the fourth release of the year for The Soundgarden: and a fine example of the label's ability to release music that feels alive with the energy of Miami in March. It comes ahead of further music from Solis [US], who made his first impression on The Soundgarden: with this release, having graced One Of A Kind in February with his Celestial Drift.
