Semsei 'Music On' on Not What It Seems

Musumeci placed the Underspreche Remix of 'Music On' sixth of 12 on his Circles chart on 3 November. Semsei's original is out on Not What It Seems, filed as Melodic House and Techno, arriving as Miami settles into its dry season under an early dusk.

Underspreche's rework keeps an even hand between drum and tone, with an airy hit pattern running through a mix that sits in the middle with some give beneath its own peaks. Plenty of air at the top keeps everything light rather than heavy. It is a spacious, well judged remix, the kind that respects the original without simply repeating its shape.

Semsei has one release to his name, since 16 May 2025, on Not What It Seems. Underspreche has put out 11 releases since 16 March 2018, four of them on Nervous Records and two on Innervisions; the most recent before this was 'Voices' on Nervous Records on 4 July, and this remix pairs a new name with a considerably more seasoned one.
