Roy Rosenfeld 'Toco' on Lost Miracle

Roy Rosenfeld has released a brand new track, 'Toco', on Lost Miracle. It's his first release on the label since 4 November 2022 (Milongi), a gap of about nine months.

'Toco' is a supremely effective track that works its magic with a crowded percussion arrangement that seems to get more intricate the longer it plays. The drums carry the whole cut, and it is a masterclass in restrained groove: the track is never overwhelmed by its own detail, with a middling level that leaves plenty of room under the peaks and a top end with plenty of air. This is sophisticated, functional house music that will find favour in peak season in Ibiza and Mykonos and with anyone who appreciates deep, percussive sounds.

'Toco' is Roy Rosenfeld's sixth release of 2023 on Beatport. It is the label's sixth release of the year to date.

Roy Rosenfeld placed 'Toco' first in his Toco Dance Chart on 21 August, a chart that shows his current sound. Four of the 12 records in that chart are on Lost Miracle. Luka Sambe's 'Bunggul' (Lost & Found) is at fifth; that release was covered on 12 August.
