Robin M 'Siamese Twin' on Ulu Records

This week's Ibiza chart comes from Bedouin, whose The Only One chart placed 'Siamese Twin' in sixth. It is one of seven Afro House records this week and, at 126 BPM, the fastest in that group, whose tempos run from 120 to 126 BPM.

Written and produced by Robin M, it is a record that puts weight on harmony and melody, with crowded percussion and a forward mix that leaves almost no room under the peaks. The treble is bright and the groove is relentless, built for the opening weeks of the season when the island is at its most expectant. On the chart, it sits ahead of records by Ida Corr and Nandu ('Tell Me' on Innervisions, at eighth).
