Rico Puestel, Tom Wax 'Endzeit' on ROMPAX

The note ROMPAX put out with the release says, "ROMPAX is the combination of the two electronic music souls Tom Wax & Rico Puestel and with this longplayer they present the final chapter of their collaboration!" The track, filed as Melodic House and Techno, came out on the label in March, running at 130 BPM, and Yulia Niko placed it 13th of 19 in her Melodig Week 14 chart on 13 March.

Rico Puestel's catalogue runs to 16 releases since November 2016, spread across Natura Viva Black and Natura Viva, four apiece; the most recent before this was 'Dolce Far Niente 2', on Natura Viva, in December. Harmony sits out in front of the drums, with a plain, regular hit pattern beneath it. Levels sit soft, with headroom to spare, and the top end runs shaded, a controlled, unhurried read. 13th of 19 is a modest finish, but closing chapters rarely chase chart position, and this one lands with the project's own story rather than against it.
