Rebuke, Linska 'Digital Dream' on ERA

"Digital Dream", Rebuke and Linska's collaborative track on ERA, has been chosen by Cassian for his latest chart, "CASSIAN | "Lençóis (Love Me)" Chart", landing at tenth in a list that includes Ivory (IT)'s "Yeah!" on Exit Strategy at second. The chart was shared on 25 January, with this new release making up part of the first weeks of the Tulum season.

The release came on 19 January 2024 and is an extended mix in the Melodic House & Techno field. Rebuke, previously covered on these pages on 1 August for his Afterlife Records cut, "Syren", now works alongside Linska for this well received offering. The track runs at 127 BPM, the fastest of the week's seven Melodic House & Techno records, which come in at tempos ranging from 122 to 127 BPM.

Sonically, "Digital Dream" is built around its harmonic layer, which does the heavy lifting. Many of its hits fall right on the beat, keeping it driving and direct. It rises in level with peaks that barely clear the top of the mix, and holds a moderate brightness in the upper frequencies, making for a record with plenty of presence without ever feeling harsh.
