Monte, Stylo, Kevin de Vries 'Be My Own' on Spinnin' Records

Kevin de Vries was billed at [UNVRS] in Ibiza on 15 September, sharing the bill with Anyma, Cassian and Colyn, and four days before that he had a new collaborative single out on Spinnin' Records. 'Be My Own', credited to Monte, Stylo and de Vries, arrives in an extended mix built for exactly that kind of room.

Monte has kept a steady release pace through labels including Electronique NU and Armada Music, and landed on Afternoon Umbrella Friends as recently as early August with 'Monty's Song'. 'Be My Own' finds him and Stylo working alongside de Vries on a track that sits comfortably at 130 BPM, pitched for the kind of melodic house and techno sets that dominate Ibiza's late-season bills.

With de Vries also billed alongside Innellea, the timing lines up neatly: a producer credit on record and a DJ booking in the same window, both pointing at the same corner of the scene. The track's tempo and mix choice make clear exactly which rooms it was built for.
