Monolink 'Laura' on Embassy One

Monolink played Praia Irmão in Lisbon on 23 September, on a bill that ran under the name DHB Portugal and also carried Bedouin, Carlita, Satori and Mayssa. His track 'Laura' returns in the Argy & Omnya Remix, out on Embassy One, the same version that had already turned up on Argy's own chart the night before. On 22 September, Argy placed it second of 14 in his 'Ibiza Closing Gems' chart, a full field that also carried Cassian, Poppy Baskcomb and Anyma (ofc)'s 'Save Me feat. Poppy Baskcomb', on Afterlife Records, at ninth.

Laura leans on its chords more than its drums, moving in a steady, unbroken line with little space between hits. It is a patient, chord-led remix, and the reworking gives 'Laura' a second life on a Lisbon night already busy with names, from the chart it landed on to the bill Monolink played in person.
