Miss Monique, Poppy Baskcomb 'Rain' on tszr

Miss Monique brings Poppy Baskcomb's vocals to the fore on a new single, 'Rain,' out on 19 September via tszr. The release was premiered by Miss Monique in her Rain chart earlier that same day and in the Hï Ibiza room where she plays this week, ahead of its arrival on streaming services. It is the Ukrainian talent's first release since her March single 'Magnet' on Tomorrowland Music.

'Rain' is led by harmony rather than percussion, with a forward level and almost no room under the peaks, a bright top end that lets Poppy Baskcomb's emotive vocal glide over the top. The drums leave a lot of room for the melody, with bass stabs that glue the record together. Miss Monique's sets have become a regular in the closing weeks of the Ibiza season, with an appearance at Hï Ibiza on 18 September as part of Hugel presents Make The Girls Dance, alongside Roger Sanchez, Juany Bravo and Paradoks, marking one of her final dates of the summer.
