At 145 BPM, 'A Better Place' is the fastest of the 12 Melodic House & Techno records logged this week, whose tempos run from 80 to 145 BPM. The Extended Mix is on 146 Records and came out on 29 January.

Marnik placed it ninth of 17 in his MARNIK Maximus Chart on 20 April. In G minor, the track splits its weight evenly between percussion and harmony, moving through a sparse percussive surface, sitting at a middling level with room left under the peaks and a bright treble that keeps the whole mix feeling alert and forward-leaning.
