'Playa Y Arena' is Make The Girls Dance Records' 14th release of 2025, one of 15 for the label this year. The Extended Mix, filed as Afro House, arrived on the label in November, and HUGEL placed it ninth of 10 in his Bam Bam Chart on 17 November, a field where nine of the 10 records already carry the Make The Girls Dance Records name.

Make The Girls Dance Records' catalogue also includes Randoree and High Notes' 'That's Ill'. The mix carries as much harmony as percussion, with a drum part that leaves plenty of air around it. Levels and headroom both sit moderate, and the top end runs moderately bright, an even, breathable read that avoids leaning too hard on any one element. Ninth of 10 in a chart the label already claims nine times over says the label's own dominance of the list matters more than any one record's placing within it.
