Lilocox 'Kaltron' on Sondela Volt

Hyenah has placed Lilocox's 'Kaltron' seventh of 14 in his Sanity Charts selection, and the track is out on Sondela Volt.

'Kaltron' sits in Afro House territory, and it works through layering rather than force: a low-slung groove anchored by deep percussion, with melodic elements that drift in and out of focus as the track unfolds. The 122 BPM tempo gives it a steady, unhurried pulse, and the D flat major key lends the whole thing a warmth that sits just under the surface.

Out since 4 September, the track landed seventh of 14 in Hyenah's Sanity Charts on 18 September.
