Les Castizos, Faul & Wad 'South Roots' on Klub Record

South Roots is in Extended. Les Castizos, Faul & Wad released it through the label Klub Record on 8 May 2026. It opens the story of the label after Danidane, MAAURA released 'Like Dat' on the label on 21 June 2026.

Percussion carries it more than the harmony. A single regular figure in the drums holds it, and the top is bright, in a direct line that moves under the peaks with only a little room. It appears as South Roots (Extended Mix), and makes a change from the line of Les Castizos records that have mostly been on Nervous Records since they started releasing in the summer of 2023, on 'Dame Fuego (Extended Mix)' at the beginning of this year. In the mix here it holds a tight line, one thought repeated, in a style that is Afro House.
