Jil Tanner 'Best Days Are Nights' on ICONYC Red
'Best Days Are Nights' is ICONYC Red's third release of 2025, matching the label's full count for the year to date. The Space Motion 3AM Mix, filed as Melodic House and Techno, arrived on the label in December, and Space Motion placed it sixth of 10 in his own Zeruna chart on 21 December. It marks Jil Tanner's first release on ICONYC Red since 'Techno Terminal I', a gap of about three months.
The label describes the track as unfolding "atop a cavernous low-end rumble, its bassline tunneling forward as cascades of synths spiral into the abyss." Harmony sits out in front of the drums here, with steady work running beneath it. The mix sits loud and tight against its peaks, and the top end runs muted, a heavy, close read that matches the label's own description of it. Sixth of 10, on a return only three months in the making, is a solid result for a young label still building its own chart presence.
