Jats (ofc) 'Mahoya' on Enormous Moments

Jats (ofc) returns to Enormous Moments with 'Mahoya', a new Afro house single that continues the course he set with 'Mystic Rhythms' earlier in the year. The label frames it as an "unforgettable journey through Africa, where the deep, rhythmic beats of djembe drums and ancient tribal songs echo across the wild bushvelds," and that sense of travel is in the record's bones.

The percussion carries it: djembe-style hits in a plain, regular pattern give the groove its forward motion, while the track keeps its level modest and holds plenty of clear space around the beat. That restraint lets the tribal atmosphere breathe. A single, focused vocal hook and a rolling bassline keep it aimed at the floor without overstatement.
