Hernan Cattaneo, Chicola, Guy Mantzur, Hicky & Kalo 'Distant Memories' on Watergate Records
Hernan Cattaneo and Hicky & Kalo are welcomed to Watergate Records with 'Distant Memories', a collaborative piece that also features Chicola and Guy Mantzur on remix duties.
The label says, "While the esteemed 'El Maestro' Cattaneo has already showcased his expertise on Gorje Hewek's 'Earth' EP in 2023, Hicky & Kalo mark their debut with the label. 'Distant Memories' represents progressive house at its zenith, boasting a pulsating rhythm and enchanting melodies that promise to enliven dance floors at just the right moment."
The Guy Mantzur & Chicola Remix of 'Distant Memories' keeps the original's melodic core but pushes the rhythm further forward, with a steady, rolling groove and a bassline that does most of the work. It's progressive house built for the long haul, the kind of record that rewards patience and pays off in the later hours.
The release lands on Watergate Records, and this collaboration fits neatly into that lineage.
