Grigoré 'Heal Me, Save Me' on Diynamic

Grigoré's 'Heal Me, Save Me' is his first release on the Diynamic label in nearly two years. It broke a silence that had lasted since his 'Combinations' EP in March 2023.

'Heal Me, Save Me' opens with airy, breathy pads, a distant chord wash, a patient heartbeat drum. There is space in the mix and the kick does not fight for attention; it simply marks time while warm stabs hover above. A vocal sample, processed and indistinct, arrives in fragments, not as a hook but as texture, another layer of atmosphere in a record that keeps its headroom to spare. There is a sheen across the top end, bright but not brittle, so the whole thing feels polished without being aggressive. The drums never rush; they run, steady and unhurried, and that restraint gives the track its pull.

A first release on Diynamic in 20 months is a statement in itself. The label has a tradition of artists who return when the work is ready, not when a calendar demands it. Tulum, where the season is just starting to warm up, has already heard this one in the right rooms.
