Gledd's 'Yandman' lands on Cacao Records, filed as Afro house, released on 5 May and running at 127 BPM, as Lisbon and Berlin move through high summer. Nhii placed it 11th of 12 on the June Vibes chart, posted 19 June, a list where Manu Dibango, Nhii and HARJI's 'Bessoka' on Sol Selectas held first.

Cacao Records' own note calls it "2 new groovy afro influenced interpretations that bring a clubbing and/or outdoor vibe." The harmony runs the record, set against unhurried percussion that stays held back, with plenty of room under the peaks and a top end that sits neither bright nor dark.

'Yandman' arrives without much fanfare beyond the label's own plain description, letting the groove carry the release on its own terms.

The label said

Italian producer and Mexico City based Gledd is back with two dancefloor killers. 2 new groovy afro influenced interpretations that bring a clubbing and/ or outdoor vibe.
