Geeyo Ibra, Adassiya 'On My Mind' on Mektoub Records

Francis Mercier placed 'On My Mind' 11th of 15 on his All My Life chart on 16 December, then played Zamna Tulum on 3 January for Solèy Tulum, alongside Afrojack, AVÖ (PT) and Nadrums. The Extended Mix from Geeyo Ibra and Adassiya, on Mektoub Records, was released 21 November, timed for the Tulum season at its fullest.

At 120 BPM, the track leans more on chord than drum, with percussion left thin on the ground. The level runs high and flat under its own peaks, and a top end pitched between bright and dark keeps the mix from settling into either extreme. It is a bold, chord forward piece of production, confident enough to let harmony carry most of the weight.

Geeyo Ibra has two releases to their name since 13 June 2025, on Variety Music and Get Physical Music; the most recent before this was 'Organica Issue #19' on Variety Music, also on 13 June. A short catalogue and a spot this close to the top of Mercier's own chart make for a promising start.
