Final Request 'We're Over' on Black Rose Recordings

'We're Over' marks Final Request's first release on Black Rose Recordings since 'Closed Doors' in October 2022, a gap of about nine months. The track, filed as Melodic House and Techno, arrived on the label in June, and Massano placed it ninth of 10 in his Theory EP Chart on 28 June. 'We're Over' is Black Rose Recordings' seventh release of 2023, against a total of eight for the label this year.
Black Rose Recordings describes the release as delivering "solid grooves and baselines followed by atmospheric pads" that "create a perfect dance floor banger." The drums run this record, with the percussion kept unhurried throughout. Levels sit high, flat under the peaks, and the top end stays dim, a heavy, close mix that leans on weight rather than air. Ninth of 10 is a modest finish, but a return after nine months away, on a label this active, still counts as a return worth making.

"Raw" as the name suggests it's a raw sound, distorted with electronic elements and his unique style. Solid grooves and baselines followed by atmospheric pads create a perfect dance floor banger. "We're Over" it's vibrant and it's leads are mesmerizing, the deep vocal perfectly fit with the groove a track that excites and that in the main break creates a unique and harmonious atmosphere, where the melodies and the vocal envelop you, taking you to another reality.
