Emanuel Satie, Tim Engelhardt, Maga, Sean Doron 'Mind Over Matter' on Scenarios

Yulia Niko placed Emanuel Satie, Tim Engelhardt, Maga and Sean Doron's 'Mind Over Matter' second of 15 in her 'Mid Summer Chart' on 26 July. Niko was on the bill at Cova Santa in Ibiza on 24 July, for The Soundgarden, alongside Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur and Eelke Kleijn.

The track is on Scenarios, filed as Melodic House & Techno. Scenarios described it in its own words: "True to their signature melodic house sound, the crew amplifies the energy with catchy vocals and vibrant melodies."

Emanuel Satie was last covered on 8 March, with 'When I First Met You (I Knew You Were The One)' on Cocoon Recordings. In the mix itself, neither drums nor harmony fully takes the lead, with little incident in the drums and a top end that sits neither bright nor dark. It's held back in level, with plenty of room under its peaks, patient rather than pushed.
