John Summit's remix of Ellie Goulding and Anyma (ofc)'s 'Hypnotized' topped his own 'SUMMIT SELECTS' chart, placed first of 14 on 1 March. The remix sits on The End Of Genesys, filed as Melodic House & Techno, and was released on 28 February. Ellie Goulding has put out seven records since 30 October 2012, four of them on Ultra, and her most recent before this remix was the original 'Hypnotized', also on The End Of Genesys, on 10 January 2025.

The remix leans on its harmonic layer to carry the emotion, the drums stepped back to leave the arrangement room to move, and a moderately bright top end keeps the whole mix airy rather than pushed. It is a considered rework, holding back exactly where the vocal needs the space, and topping his own countdown with it suggests a producer confident enough in the result to put it above everything else he picked that week.
