EDX 'Desire' on Sirup Music

EDX placed his own 'Desire', in the Dub Mix, fifth of 20 in the Summer 2025: Club & Festival Selection on 18 July. The mix arrived on Sirup Music on 9 May, filed as Melodic House and Techno, and sits inside a catalogue of 204 releases since February 2008, built heavily on Armada Music Albums, which accounts for 55 of them, and Enormous Tunes, with 37; the most recent before this was 'Anjunabeats presents Summer House 01', a DJ mix on Anjunabeats, released 13 August 2024.

The Dub Mix puts its weight in the chords rather than the drums, running a plain, regular hit pattern underneath. It is a loud mix with little give under its peaks and a middling top end, a straightforward reading of 'Desire' that trades the original's detail for directness. Fifth of 20 in a chart of the artist's own compiling is a modest placing, but this dub is not chasing extremes.
