Dave Pad 'Tie Zerq' on Hoomidaas

Dave Pad's 'Tie Zerq' arrives as Hoomidaas' fifth release of the year. The producer's catalogue runs back to August 2015, built mostly around King Street Sounds, Electronique, Tronic Soundz and Anjunadeep, and he was last heard on King Street Sounds in December, with 'Follow the Melody'. He moves between those labels the way most producers move between rooms, at home in each without repeating himself.

Tie Zerq holds its low end and chords in close balance, moving at an easy, spacious pace that never crowds the mix. It is a spare, patient production, one that never rushes past its own groove, and a fitting stamp on Hoomidaas' fifth release of the year.
