Colyn, Read the News 'See the Light' on belonging
Three DJs charted 'See the Light' inside the same window: Dirty South on 5 Nov, Colyn on 3 Nov and Yulia Niko on 30 Oct. Dirty South placed it fourth of 10 on his own Come Closer Chart, Colyn had it first of 15 on his own See The Light chart, and Yulia Niko placed it 10th of 20 on her Melodig Week 3 list. The Colyn and Read the News track, on belonging and filed as Melodic House & Techno, arrives in Miami's dry season.
Dirty South's own chart also carries Beswerda's 'Pain' at second, on TAU. Colyn has kept a long run since 29 June 2009, 49 releases in that time, mostly across Afterlife Records, Rose Avenue, Armada Music Albums and Rose Avenue/Reprise, the most recent before this on Afterlife in September.
Drums sit over harmony throughout, plenty happening across the beat under a forward level with almost no room left beneath the peaks, and a dark top end. Charted three times over three weeks by three different DJs, 'See the Light' has already done more work before release than most records manage after it.
