CamelPhat, Frynn 'Venom' on When Stars Align

Fresh from the release of 'Oblivion' on Simulate Recordings at the end of October, CamelPhat return with 'Venom', a collaboration with Frynn that arrives on their own When Stars Align label.

It is their 12th release of 2024 and their first together since the 'Endlessly' remix package arrived in late September.

Written and produced by CamelPhat and Frynn, the extended mix of 'Venom' is a slow-burning piece of melodic techno. Its weight sits in the chords, which swell and decay in slow motion. The percussion holds a regular figure, while the level of the mix pushes forward with almost no room under the peaks. The top of it is dark, and the whole thing stays in a state of tension without breaking into catharsis. It was charted by Nora En Pure on 2 November.
