Bontan 'Forever' on North Drum

Away from the obvious, there is a rich musicality to it: the track has a full, blended harmony, with the percussion carrying a regular, almost rhythmic figure. Its mix leaves the peaks with a long way clear, which adds a certain ease and grace to the record, and there is plenty of space within the sound for the upper elements to shine without crowding the low end.

With the release arriving via Bontan's own North Drum label on 13 Jun 2025, it's perhaps no surprise to see Pete Tong among the early champions, placing the record sixth of seventeen in his Places & Spaces chart on 25 Jun as the Berlin summer starts to warm up. It is a fine follow-up to the EDC Las Vegas 2025 record which dropped on Insomniac Music Group back in May.
