2Qimic 'Roll Up' on Astral Records

Set against the closing weeks of the Tulum season, 2Qimic returns to Astral Records on 13 March 2026 with 'Roll Up' (Extended Mix), his first release on the label since 'Celestial, Pt. 3' on 21 July 2023, a gap of about two years.

The track is filed under Melodic House & Techno and has already been picked up by Yulia Niko, who charted it at number five in her Melodig Week 14 chart on 13 March. It is the fifth Astral Records release of 2026, following on from Far From Home and Retoric's 'The Arrival', which was covered in the 9 March issue of this magazine.

In the mix, neither the drums nor the harmony dominate. The drums leave a lot of room, the level sits quiet with peaks well clear of the ceiling, and the top end stays lit. It is a cut that breathes, keeping the floor moving without forcing the point.
